Vintage Arcoroc “Amazone” Turquoise Blue Irregular Swirl Glass Fruit Bowl

A very striking glass bowl with an irregular swirl design made by Arcoroc of France. The bowl is not only an unusual shape, but also an unusual turquoise colour and comes with its original box. Designed as a fruit bowl, it measures 16cm (6¼ in.) in diameter, and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and with original sticker still attached.

Chance Brothers “Calypto” Fluted Glass Plate designed by Michael Harris

A large Chance Brothers glass plate in the "Calypto" pattern, designed by Michael Harris and produced in the 1950s. The design has a curved leaf and flower pattern on a lightly fluted and shallow glass plate with gilded edges. This one is in good condition, with minor signs of wear to the edging and minor superficial signs of use to the glass, including some grazing and scratches but not readily noticeable without inspection.

The plate is approximately 24cm (9½ in.) in diameter and approximately 2.5cm (1 in.) in depth.

Colourful Verrerie Cristallerie D’Arques Service Liqueur Decanter and Glasses Set

Quite a funky way of having a little tipple, this French glasses and decanter set made by Verrerie Cristallerie D'Arques features an abstract circles pattern across the pieces, with a bright yellow decanter and six matching small glasses in red, light blue, and turquoise (two of each colour). Dating from the late 1960s the set is in good condition and with its original box (though we suspect that it should have a lid which unfortunately is missing). All in all, this is a very colourful and snazzy drinking set for your next barbecue, party, or other event, or simply "at home" when you fancy something a little special served with something special to match.

The glasses measure 5cm (2 in.) in height and the decanter is approximately 18cm (7 in.) in height, including the stopper.

The glasses and decanter are in good condition with only very minor signs of wear - no chips or cracks. The box does have some wear and tear - as is to be expected - to edges and corners, and some surface loss where tape has been applied.

Luminarc Rubis / Ruby / Rubina Glass Windsor Vase 1970s Boxed

With its ruby red geometric patterns and triangular shape this Windsor vase by Luminarc is very much a child of the 1970s. It looks superb in sunlight with the various facets, shapes and edges interacting to create interesting effects. This one has its original box, albeit in slightly worn condition, and appears to be unused. The ruby colours are bold and solid unlike many other examples that you might come across.

The vase measures 16cm (6½ in.) in height and is in excellent condition.

Set of 8 “International” glasses by Libbey (1959-61)

Made by the American company of Libbey, this is a complete set of eight colourful glasses depicting international cities: Madrid, Athens, Hague, Havana, London, Rome, Bombay, and Paris. Perfect for your "Mad Men" cocktail cabinet (if you have one) or for any enthusiastically retro drinking environment ;)

The presence of the Havana glass dates the set between 1959 and 1961 (see the 1959-60 Libbey Catalogue here: http://libbeyhistory.com/Catalogs/19591960fall.pdf) . Because of the Bay of Pigs / Cuban Missile Crisis - and the sensitivity of having a Cuba-related item in the set- Nassau replaced Havana in 1962.

The glasses are in the "Double Old Fashioned" tumber glass style of the range and each is approximately 4in (10cm) high with a diameter of 3in (8cm) around the rim. Overall, the glasses are in very good condition, aside from a nibble on the rim of the "Havana" glass which is a shame but we don't think that it renders the set any less desirable.

Set of Four Pukeberg Smoked Glass Black Stemmed Dessert Bowls

A set of four stylish dessert bowls made by Pukeberg of Sweden, featuring a subtley gradated smoked glass body with black stems and a stripey textured deep base. Very retro elegance!

The bowls are in generally excellent condition with their stickers intact. One bowl has a minor rim bump but we feel that this doesn't detract from their overall appeal at all.

Each bowl measures 8 cm (3¼ in.) in height with a rim diameter of 9.5cm (3¾ in.) and a base diameter of 7cm (2¾ in.)
