Designed by Ronald Stennett-Willson for Wedgwood, this is a stunning topaz (amber) glass domed paperweight with air bubble pattern. The paperweight is marked to the base with "WEDGWOOD ENGLAND" and is in very good condition, with some wear to the base and some very minor imperfections which barely noticeable except upon very close inspection.

The paperweight is approximately 10 cm (4 in.) tall and 6cm (2¼ in.) in diameter at its widest point.

An unusual desk lamp hailing from Hungary and made in the early 1970s, in a suitable tone of orange for the era. Made by Elektrofem this is their model HE-4380, a mix of cast metal, chrome, and plastic which is a little different from the norm when it comes to vintage desk lamps. A few things to note right away. First, it has holes in the base for wall or flat surface fixing. Second, and unusually, the shade is at a fixed height but can be rotated in both axes. Thirdly, well, it's just a bit different.

This one is in original used condition - plenty of wear and tear to it but also plenty of life left too. Rather than resurface the paintwork as might sometimes be the case, it's been left "as is" for either for the buyer to apply a coat of paint to it, or to continue to leave it alone and retain the character it undoubtedly has.

The lamp measures approximately 40cm (16 in.) in height with the fixed point of the shade at about 30cm (12 in.). The base has a diameter of 15.5cm (6 in.) with a very shallow depth of 0.5cm (¼ in.) rising another 0.5cm (¼ in.) to the junction of the vertical, which itself is offset from the centre of the base. The shade rim has a diameter of 12.5cm (5 in.) narrowing to 7cm (2¾ in.) at the rear. The lamp holder takes a large screw E27 bulb and the flex has an inline switch and two plastic retainers to keep it close to the vertical chrome rod.

Hebi (“Snake”) Table Lamp by Isao Hosoe for Valenti Luce, 1970

A true design classic and an adjustable lamp like no other, the Hebi lamp made by Valenti of Italy is a coiled tube which literally provides flexibility: the entire structure being twistable and turnable throughout its length courtesy of an articulated metal inner and plastic outer "tube". An aerospace engineer, Isao Hosoe moved to Italy in his early twenties to establish his own design office in Milan. The Hebi lamp (Italian for "snake") of 1970 propelled him into international recognition and earned the lamp a place in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.

As well as its snake-like body, the lamp also has a rotatable metal shade in brushed metal which provides additional positioning possibilities. Ours is in good clean working condition, with minor wear and tear to the shade, some slight discoloration to the metal parts in places, and a couple of very minor indents to the shade which are barely noticeable without close inspection. We have decided to leave these imperfections "as is" rather than attempt to make the lamp look "new" again with significant polishing etc. It's an almost 50 year old lamp despite its modern looks and so, aside from cleaning it, we have respected that and done no more. The buyer might wish to fully polish the shade and metal parts but that would not be our choice.

The "body" of the lamp measures approximately 128cm (51 in.) with an additional 1.5m (59 in.) of flex. An inline switch provides an on/off button and the rubber sleeve which marks the meeting of the flex and the body is embossed with "VALENTI MADE IN ITALY". The shade is approximately 9cm (3½ in.) in diameter.

Attributed to Pat Albeck and made by Worcester Ware, these colourful round drinks trays have a bright orange-red ground with abstracted floral design in yellow, blue and green. These were originally sold through Tesco which helps us to date them firmly to 1969-71: the price label underneath each tray has a pre-decimalisation and post-decimalisation cost indicating their age almost precisely, most likely to 1970 or early 1971 (after that date the post-decimalisation cost appeared before the "old money" price.)

The trays are in used vintage condition, but are generally very good. Expect some wear and tear (minor dints and scrapes and the odd patch of rust which varies from tray to tray) but also expect to be thrown back to 1970 with some force by their vivid design and styling, whether you use them for their intended purpose or indeed just for decoration!

The trays have a diameter of 30cm (12 in.) and a depth of 3cm (1¼ in.)
