It's of wood construction with carved detailing and flower patterns on both sides. The music is the French song "Boire un petit coup" ("Have a little drink!") which is a jaunty little tune we must say (look it up on YouTube!).

The pourer body is made of wood with metal elements and measures approximately 10cm / 4.5" (widest part) x 3cm / 1.25" (depth) x 17cm / 6.5" (length).  The wood is in reasonable shape, but the cork has seen better days and would probably need replacing if it's to be used as an actual pourer.  A novelty item perhaps, but a rather charming one!
