1970s Orange and White Circular Plastic Desk Tidy / Pen Holder

Who doesn't like a desk tidy? We certainly like them, and this one is a nice example of the sort, made in Hong Kong and dating from the 1970s. It's a circular plastic tidy which has a diameter of about 13cm and a height of 5.5cm, with four compartments in the body which pull out on single hinges, four tray sections on top, and a central pen holder. Typically orange and white colours (though the white is somewhat cream now), this makes a pleasing addition to a desktop. Please note, pens, pencils, rubber bands, etc., pictured are not included.

Vintage Square Yellow and Brown Mod Dot Design Linen Tablecloth

Absolutely fabulous vintage square linen tablecloth with a mod / op art style design of dots in yellows and browns arranged in a semi-block fashion on a white ground with regular yellow dots in-between. In very good condition with just a couple of minor edging snags and in seemingly unused condition. The fabric measures approximately 120cm (47 in.) square.

Vintage Funky “Tote-A-Tone” Portable AM Radio

Looking rather like a plastic discus with a surprised face on it or a steamrollered Panasonic "Panapet" (R-70), this portable AM radio has groovy written all over it. It doesn't, of course, but the shape, the font in the sticker, the red and orange colour scheme, and the arrangement of the speaker and control dials, all adds up to a peculiarly groovy item, and moreover one which is designed to be "worn" over the shoulder so you can take your tones with you (ahem).

The radio works - although a bit crackly - and takes two "AA" batteries - you just unscrew the two halves to reveal the inside and the battery compartment. The plastic strap is affixed to the metal belt which surrounds the orange housing via a "D" ring, which is not original but which works perfectly. It and the strap can be removed if necessary, the latter by unscrewing the red closure which holds the belt in place.

The radio measures approximately 13cm in diameter with a depth of 6cm (approx. 5 in. and 2¼ in. respectively), and the strap is approximately 122cm (48 in.) in total length. In very good condition with only extremely minimal superficial signs of age and use.

Vintage Turned Wood Pot Pourri Bowl with beautifully contrasting grain

A turned wood pot pourri bowl with small lid which appears to be of vintage origins - possibly handmade - and which features a beautifully contrasting wood grain. The body of the bowl is of a darker wood (possibly teak) with a contrasting lighter top surface and small lid with subtle knob which have a strikingly grained appearance. The top surface has been perforated with a star pattern. The base has a green felt for portection of surfaces. In very good condition with no chips or dings to speak of.

The bowl measures approximately 10cm (4 in.) high, with a top diameter of 14.5 cm (5¾ in.) and a base diameter of 10cm (4 in.)

Peill & Putzler TA14 Ice Cube Style Glass Table Lamp

Distinctive ice cube style frosted table lamp, model TA 14 in a circular shape with frosted exterior and concave clear circular panels to form a hexagonal design, made by Peill & Putzler in West Germany. In very good cosmetic state and in working condiition, the lamp has only extremely minor signs of age and wear. There are no significant chips and no cracks. The maker's mark and model number are embossed on the base of the bulb holder .

The lamp has a diameter of approximately 12cm and a height of 11cm. The bulb opening is approximately 8cm and the cable is approximately 1.4m in length with an inline switch. We strongly recommend a full PAT test by purchasers before use.

Sky Blue Worcesterware Drinks Tea Tray with Geometric Green and Gold Design

Yes, it's very sky blue. Yes, it's kind of psychedelic and trippy in design. Yes, it was probably made in the 1970s. This round Worcesterware drinks or serving tray is is in very good shape, with some scratching to the underside which is to be expected for this kind of item but a very good and clean surface. The tray doesn't suffer from any denting or deformations, although it could be argued that it suffers from its decade of manufacture.

The tray measures 30cm (12.in) in diameter and is approximately 3cm (1¼ in.) deep.
