A set of six mugs or cups and saucers in a distinctly 1970s style, with ribbed surfaces and two-tone brown design, chunky build and unusually deep but narrow saucers. A genuinely unusual design with a great look to them and very usable.

The mug or cups measure approximately 6.5 cm in height, with a rim diameter of 8.5 cm and an overall width including the handle of 12cm. The saucers are 13.5 cm in diameter with a depth of almost 2 cm.

In very good condition with no chips or cracks. Marked with an impress "Made in Emgland" on the undersides of each item.

A very modern-looking set of cups, saucers, plates, jug, bowl, and sugar bowl made by Branksome Pottery - deceptively modern, as they were made in the 1950s! This set of items from the "Graceline" design range is presented in the typical two-tone pastel colourway, in this case a pale green and grey-green colourway, and is comprised of four cups and saucers, four small side plates, milk or cream jug, an open bowl, and a lidded sugar bowl. It's a classic design which has truly stood the test of time and would grace any table.

The set is in excellent condition with no discernible chips or cracks. Collection preferred for this item or delivery by courier arranged by buyer (please contact), in order to ensure safe transit. Please also get in touch if you are interested in individual pieces from this set.

Wonderful styling and made of high quality fine bone china, these Elizabethan "Carnaby" design coffee cans/mugs and cup/saucer/side plate trios simply exude "retro"- they are delicate without being fussy. This is the "No. 2" design in blue with brown detailing which we think is a very appealing combination indeed.

They are in very good condition with only minor signs of wear and no chips or cracks - the maker's mark is clear and legible on each.

Coffee cans/mugs measure approximately 8cm in height (3¼in) with a diameter on the rim of 7cm (2¾in).
Cups measure approximately 7cm (2¾ in.) with a diameter on the rim of 8cm in (3¼in).
Saucers are approximately 14.5cm (5¾ in.) in diameter.
Sideplates are approxiately 16.5cm (6½ in.) in diameter.

Crisp white ground and modern shapes are brought to life with green diamonds and circle patterns on these fabulous "Greenway" sets. Brought into existence by renowned designer John Russell (primarily known for his designs at Midwinter) and made by Hostess Tableware, the "Greenway" pieces are great examples of their era and the designer.

The pieces are in very good condition. There are only minor blemishes to the designs in places, and some wear to the gilding, but nothing major and there are no chips or cracks.

A set of two very charming painted wooden egg cups, one shaped as a soldier and the other as a gentleman in a suit and bow tie. As you will see from the photos, these are probably not for everyday use as originally intended, but we think they are absolutely lovely little decorative items with oodles of character and whimsical aesthetic appeal.

The soldier has lost an arm in battle and the gentleman has possibly lost a nose in a book somewhere (we presume). Both have significant wear and tear due to their age and use. However, we honestly think that this just adds to their attractiveness. Both measure about 9 cm (3½ in) in height with a diameter of around 2.5 cm (1 in) at the base.
