The lamp measures approximately 30cm in height overall, the shade measures 15cm from front to back with a rim diameter of 12 cm, and the flexible nexk measuring approximately 20cm in length.

This one is in good condition - not without some small signs of both age and use to the metalwork - and in working order, though as with all electrical items it should be safety-checked prior to use in its destination environment.

This one is in an off-white colour, a very light grey with a hint of mushroom and it's a good example. There is some minor wear to the shade and some minor losses to the arm, but otherwise it's in good condition and working. The lamp can be used both on a desk or table top or wall mounted, with the latter bringing that large button and fixed arm into their own.

The lamp has a base with a diameter of approximately 14cm and a depth of 4cm whilst the lamp itself has a total height of approximately 33cm (with the shade positioned parallel to the lower part of the arm). The lampbolder takes a standard bayonet style bulb.

It is fully functional, has only a few signs of wear and tear, no chips or cracks to the plastic, and very little tarnishing to the metal neck. The white body still retains a good colour, unlike some examples of this particular lamp which sometimes have turned into a darker cream colour. The label on the underside has some pen marks on it from a previous owner.

This one is in good overall condition. There are some signs of age and use throughout and some surface losses around the rim of the shade and a small dent to it. The base was not in very good condition and has been sanded and re-sprayed with white enamel and given a gloss finish. It's not perfect when closely inspected, but the repair has given back the lamp its good looks, as the original base was distractingly worse for wear.

The lamp is full working order and has an inline switch on the cable and a UK three-pin plug. As always, buyers are advised to perform a safety check of electrical equipment in the environment within which it is to be used.

This one is in good working order and in generally good condition except for some small scratches to the shade and some minor surface losses to the rim of the shade and to the back of it. The base is in good shape aside from a couple of grazes to the plastic, and there is little in the way of discoloration which is always good.  All in all, it's a good-looking lamp with understated appeal.

The lamp measures approximately 38 cm (15 in.) in height when the neck is fully extended. The base has a diameter of about 13cm (5¼ in.) and the black gooseneck section is  24cm (9½ in.) in length. The cable (UK plug) is approximately 180cm (71 in.) in length. The lamp holder takes a large bayonet bulb.

The lamp does have a defect - there's a dent to the shade, an almost flat spot where it has had an impact of some kind - and although it is a shame, it does not detract too much from the look of the lamp and is not in an immediately obvious location. The high reflectivity of the chrome shape also helps to distract. The base is composed of a black enamelled cast metal with a plastic underside and has a white, solid feeling swtich.
Otherwise, the lamp is in good condition, with only minor signs of age and wear.  It measures approximately 48cm (19 in.) in height with the gooseneck fully extended, of which 18cm (7 in.) is the rubberised gooseneck portion. The base has an approximate diameter of 15cm (6 in.) and a depth of 3.5cm (1½ in.). The ball shade has an opening of 11cm (4¼ in.) and an overall diameter of approximately 14cm (5½ in.).  It takes a standard bayonet bulb ftting.

The only intervention on this lamp has been new felt on the clamp section - just to ensure it doesn't cause damage to the surface.

The rigid part of the lamp neck measures approximately 32.5cm (12¾ in.) with the flexible gooseneck section slightly shorter than that. The "foot" of the lamp - which also houses the push button switch - measures approximately 5cm (2 in.) in height. The shade is slightly oval in shape with a maximum diameter of 21.5cm (8½in.)

The wood arms have been gently oiled to bring out their original colour. One of the lower arms has what appears to be a burn mark on it, but barring that, they are in good solid condition as are the wingnuts and metal fixtures. The metal shade bracket is slightly misshapened, but the shade itself has kept its shape and only has a few minor grazes to show for it's 60+ years of age and use, and the base is in similar condition. The bulb holder has been replaced like-for-like.

A good example of an iconic lamp and increasingly difficult to find in original condition.  As with all electrical products, buyers are urged to have the lamp inspected and safety-checked prior to installation.
