A Poole Pottery medium-sized (16cm height) blue-green or teal Siamese Cat figurine. This is the right hand sitting design. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks and with only minor imperfections to the glaze (from the manufacturing process). Stamped to the base.

“Rocking Fellow” 1970s Chromed Desktop Balancing Kinetic Toy

As common as flares in the 1970s, figures such as this "Rocking Fellow" were found on many a desk or shelf as a novelty item. This one, most likely made by Mr. Man in Taiwan or Otagiri in Japan, is a balancing figure who rocks back and forth on a chromed podium via his weighted balance bar. The "Rocking Fellow" is one of a series of figures with varying balance and movement poses.

The figure is in good visual condition. The podium has some pitting but is generally good, whilst the box is in reasonable shape bar some surface loss where some ill-advisedly applied tape has been removed.

When assembled measures approximately 13cm high by 13cm wide.

Very Kitsch 1960s Donkey Figurine made by Trentham / Beswick

This large (22cm / 10in high) figurine of a sitting donkey, possibly a baby donkey, must definitely fall into the category of "it's so bad it's good" - we certainly think so! Made by Trentham Art Wares in collaboration with Beswick it was undoubtedly proudly displayed on many a 1960s mantelpiece. Now it's a superb slice of kitsch and sure to raise a smile in a contemporary environment.

Ours is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. The makers number "352" is visible on the base.
