The switch can be used to momentarily illuminate or pushed to continuously illuminate.

The torch has signs of age and use, including dents and wear throughout -  the latter revealing it is likely made of a nickel (or similar) plated brass. The torch measures approximately 23cm ( 9 in.) in length with the intact glass lens just over 5cm (2 in.) in diameter. An interesting display piece...or indeed a quite usable torch :)
