The background of the plaque is made of a lighter sacking style fabric and the flowers have handpainted detailing.  It is a good example of folk art using some rather unusual materials.

The plaque measures approximately 30 cm by 20 cm ( 12 in. by 8 in.) and is in very good vintage condition.
