More famous for their stylised bulls, this vase also features the trademark dark sage colour and speckled blue-grey tone of their work in the 1970s, but with a leaf or petal design, almost fern-like, running vertically from the base. The vase is ribbed horizontally and has a slender pinch about two-thirds down from the rim. These aspects and the glaze provides much play of light on the surface.

A great piece for the collector of Lotus pottery the vase in execllent condition with no discernible defects. The piece is stamped to the base with the Lotus Pottery mark.

The design has a curved leaf and flower pattern on a lightly fluted and shallow glass plate with gilded edges. This one is in good condition, with minor signs of wear to the edging and minor superficial signs of use to the glass, including some grazing and scratches but not readily noticeable without inspection.

The plate is approximately 24cm (9½ in.) in diameter and approximately 2.5cm (1 in.) in depth.
