Immediately recognisable as an icon of modern design, this is the Anglepoise Model 1227. This particular Angelpoise 1227 is cream with rolled rim to the shade and a two step base which dates it to the late 1930s.

In very good and, more importantly, original condition with "Crabtree" bulb holder still in place.
An earthing terminal has been fitted to this lamp near the connection of the shade.
Not PAT tested, and, as with all electrical items requires inspection and testing in the environment in which it is intended to be used.

Immediately recognisable as an icon of modern design, this is the Anglepoise Model 1227. More specifically, this is a scumble finish Angelpoise 1227 with a two step base which dates from the 1940s. The scumble finish was applied using a rolled factory rag and it creates a marbled gold and cream effect on this particular lamp.

In very good and, more importantly, original condition with "Crabtree" bulb holder still in place.
Not PAT tested, and, as with all electrical items requires inspection and testing in the environment in which it is intended to be used.
