Avocado Green Copal Model 515 Portable Digi-Glo Rolling Clock

It's understandable if you're under the impression that it was only soft furnishings and bathroom suites which were avocado colour in the 1970s, but this cycling clock (rather like a flip clock but the numbers roll rather than flip as time passes) is proof to the contrary (see also). Made by Copal of Japan this is - unusually - marketed as a "portable" battery-powered device. A single "D" size battery provides the juice. The display has a glow option (activated by depressing the button on top of the unit) and the clock also has an alarm function (the alarm is activated via the button at the back). The clock emits a ticking sound and the rolling of the numbers is not silent, if noise is a concern for you.

This one is in full working order and comes complete with its original box (in relatively good condition) and instructions, which is also unusual. Condition-wise it is excellent with only extremely minor signs of age and use. The only cosmetic issue being some rusting to the underside of the metal battery cover. The actual battery compartment is in good order.

A rare opportunity to purchase a very uncommon item in great condition. Offers are welcomed.

Pifco 983 Telescopic Desk Lamp designed by Pierre Cardin

Designed by Pierre Cardin, the Pifco 983 is a small telescopic desk lamp with a somewhat space-age look which dates from the 1970s. The white shade and body contrast with the black panel which features a switch which provides low and high intensity settings as well as turning the lamp off. This particular telescopic lamp is one that retracts and folds into a compact form when not in use. The shade is positionable and the telescopic arm extends almost 40 cm (16 in.). The base itself is a rectangular curved shape approximately 12cm (4¾ in.) by 7cm (2¾ in.) by 7cm (2¾ in.) .

This one is in very good condition. There is minimal discolouration to the white plastics (as is sometimes the case), there are no chips or cracks to the shade or the body, and it is solid and fully functional. In summary, this is a very good example of this particular variety of lamp.

A Corgi model in very good condition, a 1:64 scale superhauler lorry for Hotpoint which comes with original box. The model is in excellent condition with no significant signs of age or use. Dating from 1984, this is a great example and might suit a collector.

Corgi Kays Catalogue Boxed Model Lorry 1985 1:64 scale

A toy from the 1980s depicting a brand which will be very well known from the 1980s to those of a certain age. This is a Corgi Toys 1:64 scale superhauler lorry for Kays Catalogue. The model is in excellent condition with no significant signs of age or use. Dating from around the mid-1980s, this is a great example and might suit a collector or someone with fond memories of the mail order giant.

Please note, the box provided may not be the original for this model, though it is original in nature and from the same era as the model.

Kidco Orange 1:28 scale Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Car

One for the collectors or perhaps someone who'd like to own a Corvette but can't afford a 1:1 scale! This is a 1:28 scale model Corvette Stingrsy made by KIDCO of Hong Kong. In glorious orange with good decals and generally very good condition, and featuring pop-up headlights, opening doors and bonnet, and good detailing and very solid construction throughout.

Measures approximately 16.5 cm long (6½ in.), with a width of 7 cm (2¾ in.) and a height of 5cm (2 in.)

This one is in very good condition. There is minimal discolouration to the white plastics (as is sometimes the case), there are no chips or cracks to the shade or the body, and it is solid and fully functional. As an added bonus, the original box is also present with this lamp - albeit more than slightly age-worn.

Wells Brimtoy Tinplate and Plastic Toy Cider Lorry Friction Drive

A very collectable and colourful Wells Brimtoy Bedford cider lorry in tinplate and plastic. This is the friction-drive version of the toy and the mechanism is in pretty good shape, though could undoubtedly benefit from a clean and oil. The orange and yellow body of the truck is in very good, though aged, condition and the lorry's axles and wheels are good. There are some signs of surface rusting to the metal underside of the lorry, but nothing serious and certainly nothing that couldn't be gently cleaned off

A cute gift for the cider drinker perhaps or as a decorative bar item, or for the collector of either Wells Brimtoy toys specifically or of toy vehicles in general. It's a good example. The lorry measures about 8cm (3¼ in.) long, about 5.5cm (2¼ in.) at its highest and 4cm (1½ in.) wide.

Large Pink Cadillac Biarritz Eldorado 1959 Diecast Model 1:18 scale

Of no great age, we reckon that this model Pink Cadillac would nonetheless make a super display or decorative item or a quirky gift for the fan of Americana. Without its box or stand, the model is in good condition bar a couple of defects (a cracked windscreen and a re-glued wiper) and it certainly makes an impact. The body is made of diecast metal with plastic interior and fixtures and features opening doors, opening bonnet (hood), opening boot (trunk), adjustable sunblind, adjustable seats, adjustable front wheel, workable steering, and independent spring suspension for wheels.

Dimensions: 33cm x 11.5cm x 8cm (13 in x 4½ in x 3¼ in).
