In this case, it's a Dachshund whose head and tail are articulated and weighted to provide the entertainment. Measuring 13cm (5 in.) from the tip of his nose to the end of his tail, this little dog is a quirky little ornament for the Dachsie lover or the collector of these unusual objects.

In good condition with no chips or cracks or missing parts (often the ends of their tails are sadly lacking!).

Reider. One of a variety of toys/gifts made by the company, this one would most likely celebrate the birth or impending arrival of a baby, playing as it does on the folk tale of storks delivering babies! In common with many of the other figures this one has a nodding / bobbing head and comes with a tiny baby figure which dangles (somewhat unnervingly) from the stork's neck.

A charming and quirky item - certainly a little bit different! This one still has its original label intact and is in good vintage condition. The stork measures approximately 10cm (4 in.) high and 8.5 cm (3ΒΌ in.) long.
