Tue, 07 Feb 2023 18:50:40 +0000 en-GB hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.1.10 Vintage “Monitor” Blow Torch No. 26 https://anythinginparticular.co.uk/product/vintage-monitor-blow-torch-no-26/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=vintage-monitor-blow-torch-no-26 Sat, 02 Sep 2017 19:27:05 +0000 https://anythinginparticular.co.uk/?post_type=product&p=461 A very nice example of a "Monitor" No.26 brand blow lamp / blow torch in mixed metal with a main brass cylinder which was made in Britain and most likely dates from the 1950s.  The lamp has been sensitively cleaned to make the most of the patina and different metal colouring without diminishing its attractive ageing (see the photos!).  There are the natural signs of use: scratches, dents, etc., which we think add to its appeal (see the photos!) but it's complete and in good shape.  We think it would be a welcome addition to a collection or to decorate a masculine space such as a "man-cave" and we couldn't call ourselves a bona fide antiques/collectables seller unless we had one.

Measures approximately 7.5 x 9.5 inches at its widest with the main body measuring 3,5 inches in diameter and 4 inches in height.
