Stylish 1950s Wade “Woodmist” Trio of Cup, Saucer and Sideplate

A super stylish modern trio in the "Woodmist" design by Wade which has a classic combination of black, grey and orange and abstracted floral pattern which just shouts its origins in the 1950s. In excellent condition and a hard-to-find combination these days, this trio of cup, saucer and sideplate just evokes the era superbly.

For reference, the sideplate is approximately 15cm (6 in.) in diameter. No chips or cracks, just some minor crazing as to be expected of items of this age.

Vintage Boxed Handmade Cascade Glass Egg Saucers (Pair)

For boiled eggs with a bit of panache... a pair of vintage Cascade Glass egg saucers with a textured effect in their original box with maker's label present and intact. Each saucer has a diameter of 11.5 cm (4½ in.) and a depth of 2.5cm (1 in.) and is almost certainly based on an original Danish design used under license. These would appear to date from the 1970s.

In unused condition. The outer box has some minor signs of age and wear, but is in good cosmetic and structural condition.

Elizabethan “Lace” Bone China Coffee Cup or Can and Saucer Duos

These very striking Elizabethan "Lace" design bone china coffee cups and saucers certainly add a touch of pretty sophistication. On plain white grounds with gold detailing, the cans and saucers display the geometric lace-inspired patterns in hues of brown and yellow.

Offers are welcomed on multiples. All cups and saucers are free of cracks or chips but have varying degrees of wear to the gold rims and handles, but generally only minor wear. They will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis in terms of condition, with the best condition first.

Cups/Cans: Rim diameter 7 cm (2¾in.), base diameter 6cm (2¼ in.), outer width including handle 9.5cm (3¾in.), height 8cm (3in.)
Saucers: Rim diameter 14.5cm (5¾in.), base diameter 7 cm (2¾in.), height 2.5cm (1in.)

Vintage Crown Clarence Ironstone Trios in Pale Yellow with Geometric Pattern

A subtle but funky geometric design on pale yellow ground is the defining feature of these trios of cup, saucer and sideplate made by Crown Clarence, from the Windsor Works, Staffordshire. Dating from the 1960s, the saucers and side plates are stamped with the maker's mark (slightly different marks on each) whilst the cups are impressed only with the word "England".

Available as trios but offers are welcomed on individual pieces or for the entire set of 6 cups, 6 saucers and 6 side plates. The "best" trios will be selected on a first-come first-served basis otherwise.

All are in vintage condition with some signs of age and use, but no cracks. There may be minor grazes or nibbles to edges, but nothing truly detrimental, and there may be some fading and irregularities to the patterns (possibly from the original manufacturing).

Dimensions:
Cups: 8cm (3 in.) height, 8.5cm (3½ in.) rim, 4.5 cm (1¾ in.) base.
Saucers: 14cm (5½ in.) diameter, 2.25cm (7/8 in.) depth.
Side Plates: 17cm (6¾ in.) diameter, 2cm (¾ in.) depth.

Elizabethan Fine Bone China “Carnaby 2” Blue – four coffee cans or mugs and trios

Wonderful styling and made of high quality fine bone china, these Elizabethan "Carnaby" design coffee cans/mugs and cup/saucer/side plate trios simply exude "retro"- they are delicate without being fussy. This is the "No. 2" design in blue with brown detailing which we think is a very appealing combination indeed.

They are in very good condition with only minor signs of wear and no chips or cracks - the maker's mark is clear and legible on each.

Coffee cans/mugs measure approximately 8cm in height (3¼in) with a diameter on the rim of 7cm (2¾in).
Cups measure approximately 7cm (2¾ in.) with a diameter on the rim of 8cm in (3¼in).
Saucers are approximately 14.5cm (5¾ in.) in diameter.
Sideplates are approxiately 16.5cm (6½ in.) in diameter.

Wold Pottery Brown and Sea Green Routh Egg Cup with Saucer

Made by Wold Pottery, Hutton-le-Hole, North Yorkshire, this hand-thrown potttery egg cup with integrated saucer base is in their "Routh" design with swirling brown tones to the outside and sea-green tones on the inner of the cup. The Hutton-le-Hole mark dates the piece between 1978-84.

Presented in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, the egg cup measures approximtely 10cm (4in) in diameter.
