If you're old enough to remember when calculators were a true novelty, then the retro styling of this Sharp ELSI 8002 (aka. EL-8002) will certainly send you back in time. With its blue and cream casing, red accent colours, and green L.E.D. display this particular calculator from the mid-1970s is a super little desktop item with a great shape and visual appeal. By modern standards it's incredibly basic, but it looks great and, above all, it works.

It comes with its original leatherette case and is in very good condition with only minimal signs of use (namely a minor patch of discoloration to the "." key which is not immediately noticeable). It runs off two "AA" size batteries or via power adapter (not supplied).

Sharp’s Toffee Tin “Feeding The Birds”

One of the most desirably kitsch tins we've come across, this small Sharp's Toffee tin features a colourfully illustrated lid of a young boy feeding the pigeons. Illustrated by Cora E. M. Paterson, we suspect the original image was from an earlier children's book illustration. The tin features a reference of royal appointment to the late King George VI, which would seem to date the tin to 1952 or slightly thereafter.

The photos of the item tell the rest of the story, but the tin is approximately 13cm by 9cm by 3cm (5in. by 3½in. by 1¼in.). There is some minor paint loss and wear and tear and some slight deformations in the shape but overall this tin is in very good, used, condition.
