The black covered metal legs feature white caps and the angles and slender lines add to the visual effect, whilst the magazine shelf and dimensions make for an eminently practical piece of furniture for a mid-Century style home.

The table measures approximately 75.5 cm (width) by 30cm (depth) by 43cm (height) - 29¾ in. by 12 in. by 17 in. - with the magazine shelf approximately 15cm (6 in.) from the floor. The table collapses flat to a height of about 10cm (4 in.), simply by removing the struts which attach the legs to the shelf, which then is separated from the rest of the table.  It is not without a few minor cosmetic issues - notably some peeling of the plasticised wood effect surface on two of the corners, some general wear to the black surface covering of the legs, and some patches of discolouration to the faux wood surface (please review the photos) but these do not detract too significantly from the overall look of the piece.

In very clean condition with signs of wear and tear consistent with the age of the item, this table is not just good because it's small, it's good because it is good and very usable in a modern home.

The table measures 58cm (23 in) high, with a width of 64cm (25 in) and a depth of 30cm (12 in).

The board has been reformed so that it sits on the child's table and the latter has been sanded down and given a rough graphite grey Rustoleum furniture paint finish.  The final piece has been given a series of wax finishes to provide a durable and stylish surface. The drawing board has characterful signs of wear and use which - now waxed - adds to the attractiveness of the table.

The table top measures 40.5cm by 58.5cm (16in by 23in) and sits at a height of 46cm (18in).

It arrived with us in a heavily stained condition, but we have taken the staining back to give the wood grain some exposure and given it a healthy finish with wax, so that the final result is a table which is slightly rustic, has lots of character, and has interesting colour tones throughout.

We do not have a definitive age for this item, but it appears to be well-used and the fixings are not modern, so we would suspect it is reasonably aged.  Having said that, please buy this because you like the look of it or can find a use for it, rather than any other reason. We bought it because of its form and potential good looks, so please consider it in the same way ;)

The table top measures approximately 37 cm by 38cm (14.5in by 15in), the table is 66cm (26in) high.
