Dating from the 1960s or 1970s, this uncompromisingly styled mustard and chrome wall lamp made in Italy by Prova has been given a new lease of life as a desk lamp, courtesy of a lightly oiled English Chestnut base which provides a solid foundation for the lamp whilst also complementing the look. We have to say that we consider the rear of the lamp to be quite exceptionally good design-wise and we love how it looks when illuminated: a contender for rear of the year, surely!?

The lamp is in good used condition bar some minor bubbling to the metal casing and the odd minimal scrape here and there. The adjusting screws and fixings are sound and the cabling and bulb holder are good. The original small plastic screw for the cable grip is missing, but this does not affect the operation of the lamp in any way - the cable is nonetheless securely gripped by a chromed washer.

In summary, a rather unusual lamp given a unique treatment - we can almost certainly guarantee that there isn't a desk anywhere else with a lamp like this on it.

Please note: this lamp will be shipped without a bulb, but the holder takes a standard bayonet fit.
