Vintage Lightweight Ladies’ Scarf with Geometric Cyan and Brown Designs

This ladies' scarf really hedges its bets with a cyan and brown colour scheme which contains square motifs, circles, triangles, block colour, lines and stripes all in the one length of fabric! Each end of the scarf has subtle tassling/ It's bold and it's eye-catching and more than a little bit funky.

Measures approximately 43cm wide by 193cm long (17 in. by 76 in.) and is in good condition throughout. There is no maker's label or other identification that we can see.

Vintage Crown Clarence Ironstone Trios in Pale Yellow with Geometric Pattern

A subtle but funky geometric design on pale yellow ground is the defining feature of these trios of cup, saucer and sideplate made by Crown Clarence, from the Windsor Works, Staffordshire. Dating from the 1960s, the saucers and side plates are stamped with the maker's mark (slightly different marks on each) whilst the cups are impressed only with the word "England".

Available as trios but offers are welcomed on individual pieces or for the entire set of 6 cups, 6 saucers and 6 side plates. The "best" trios will be selected on a first-come first-served basis otherwise.

All are in vintage condition with some signs of age and use, but no cracks. There may be minor grazes or nibbles to edges, but nothing truly detrimental, and there may be some fading and irregularities to the patterns (possibly from the original manufacturing).

Dimensions:
Cups: 8cm (3 in.) height, 8.5cm (3½ in.) rim, 4.5 cm (1¾ in.) base.
Saucers: 14cm (5½ in.) diameter, 2.25cm (7/8 in.) depth.
Side Plates: 17cm (6¾ in.) diameter, 2cm (¾ in.) depth.

Biltons Ironstone Staffordshire Cereal Bowls with Brown Geometric Flower Pattern

Very retro cereal bowls made by Biltons of Staffordshire in ironstone with a speckled ground and a geometric flower design in brown. The bowls are distinctly of their time but are in good condition and ready for more use in the future. They measure approximately 17cm in diameter at the rim (6¾ in.) and 7.5 cm (3 in.) at the base, with a depth of 4.5cm (1 ¾ in.).

Early 1960s Empire Porcelain “Calypso” Atomic Tea Tray

This is an Empire Porcelain "Calypso" tea tray made in 1961 and featuring a bold atomic style design, with bright clear colours on a smooth gloss white base. The pattern contrasts black wavy lines and dots with elliptical shapes in red, blue, yellow and green with their own interior black line detailing. Quite the look!

The base is dated 6-61 (June 1961) and embossed with the shape number "754". The tray is in good condition considering its age with no chips, cracks or crazing, but with some minor wear to the design and one or two marks on the underside of the tray which are not noticeable in use. Outer dimensions are 26cm (10 in.) x 16cm (6½ in.) x 2.5cm (1 in.)

Luminarc Rubis / Ruby / Rubina Glass Windsor Vase 1970s Boxed

With its ruby red geometric patterns and triangular shape this Windsor vase by Luminarc is very much a child of the 1970s. It looks superb in sunlight with the various facets, shapes and edges interacting to create interesting effects. This one has its original box, albeit in slightly worn condition, and appears to be unused. The ruby colours are bold and solid unlike many other examples that you might come across.

The vase measures 16cm (6½ in.) in height and is in excellent condition.

Sky Blue Worcesterware Drinks Tea Tray with Geometric Green and Gold Design

Yes, it's very sky blue. Yes, it's kind of psychedelic and trippy in design. Yes, it was probably made in the 1970s. This round Worcesterware drinks or serving tray is is in very good shape, with some scratching to the underside which is to be expected for this kind of item but a very good and clean surface. The tray doesn't suffer from any denting or deformations, although it could be argued that it suffers from its decade of manufacture.

The tray measures 30cm (12.in) in diameter and is approximately 3cm (1¼ in.) deep.

Modernist Three Candle Triangular Holder made by Ianthe

A striking three-section candle holder / centrepiece made by Ianthe which would be very compatible with a mid-century or modern minimalist interior. The design is simple and effective, each section connecting with the next and locking into place via the discs which themselves are held in place by the candle holder which screws on.

Each arm measures approximately 15 cm (6 in) and the sections have a width of about 19cm (7¼ in), with a height of 14cm (5½ in). The candle holders have a outer diameter of 2.5cm (1 in). There are some minor signs of wear and tear, but nothing that detracts or is visually disturbing. According to some accounts, the piece is finished in silver plate. We aren't so sure (there are no stamps to that effect) although that might be the case. But silver plate or not, that doesn't matter to us... it's the overall look of this Ianthe candle holder which should and does appeal.

Danish Paro Design candle holder

Dating from the 1960s, this cast iron Danish candle holder is a stylish and decidely different addition to any decor, but particularly complements any mid-Century furniture.

Designed by Paro, its hexagon shapes accommodate 12 candles (12.7mm) and is approximately 12cm (5 in) in diameter. We think it would look equally good wall-mounted, but probably not with the candles!
