Vintage Crown Clarence Ironstone Trios in Pale Yellow with Geometric Pattern
A subtle but funky geometric design on pale yellow ground is the defining feature of these trios of cup, saucer and sideplate made by Crown Clarence, from the Windsor Works, Staffordshire. Dating from the 1960s, the saucers and side plates are stamped with the maker’s mark (slightly different marks on each) whilst the cups are impressed only with the word “England”.
Available as trios but offers are welcomed on individual pieces or for the entire set of 6 cups, 6 saucers and 6 side plates. The “best” trios will be selected on a first-come first-served basis otherwise.
All are in vintage condition with some signs of age and use, but no cracks. There may be minor grazes or nibbles to edges, but nothing truly detrimental, and there may be some fading and irregularities to the patterns (possibly from the original manufacturing).
Cups: 8cm (3 in.) height, 8.5cm (3½ in.) rim, 4.5 cm (1¾ in.) base.
Saucers: 14cm (5½ in.) diameter, 2.25cm (7/8 in.) depth.
Side Plates: 17cm (6¾ in.) diameter, 2cm (¾ in.) depth.
