1980s Tomy Tomytime Chunky Changers Triangle / Train No. 1055

The Tomy ("Tomytime") Chunky Changers were a range of plastic toys aimed at the younger child which were characterised by their colourful simple shapes which were capable of being transformed into various other figures or objects. Amongst the range were vehicles and animals, and this one is of the former variety. This Chunky Changer transforms from a multi-coloured triangle into a high-speed style train, complete with overhead electric section and coupling.

The un-transformed Chunky Changer measures approximately 7.5cm by 3.5cm by 6cm (3 in. by 1¼in. by 2¼in.). It's in good condition, considering, with some minor surface wear and tear and some ageing to the original white colours.

Vintage Partipack Children’s Railway Birthday Party Table Settings and Decorations

A highly unusual and colourful children's party pack and set of table decorations with a railway train theme, marketed under the "Partipack" name. Information about this set and other associated sets and their maker, Party Productions Ltd., is very difficult to come by but it would appear to date from the 1970s, perhaps earlier. Inside the large pack is an array of items for a train-themed party - mostly easily constructed from the printed cards or standalone pieces, and a book promising ideas, recipes and games!
The actual contents have not been verified as complete, as handling them is prone to "releasing" them from their cards, but it wouldn't be surprising if it were complete, as there seems to be a lot of them! The photos provided are, therefore, just a random sample of the contents. They are all generally in very good condition.

One for the collector of railway ephemera perhaps... please make a reasonable offer!

1962 Classroom Poster: The Railway – from E. R. Boyce’s “Today and Tomorrow”

A colourful poster for classroom activities which accompanied "Today and Tomorrow", the book edited by E.R. Boyce and published by Macmillan in 1962. The poster depicts a train station overview and cross-section.

The poster measures approximately 53cm by 43cm (21in. by 17in.) and is in very good condition, with only some minor corner wear and staple holes. These imperfections do not affect the poster in any meaningful way.

Please note: the frame shown is not included and is for illustrative purposes only. The poster will be carefully packaged in a cardboard tube for postage.
