Vintage Thermos Chrome and Black Bakelite Ice Bucket Cooler No. 923

Made by Thermos, and dating from the 1950s, this small two-handled ice cooler bucket, is as striking as it is useful. The chromed design features bakelet handles to the sides and knob to the lid and a plastic inner basket. The seal is good and tight and the interior is nice and clean. Aside from a few minor surface scuffs, the exterior only has one flaw, a minor dent to the lid which is not immediately apparent unless closely examined. A very nice-looking item indeed - perfect for a vintage-inspired cocktail cabinet or bar.

The bucket has a diameter at the base of 10cm (4 in.) and around the rim of 16.5cm (6½ in.), and is approximately 15cm (6 in.) in height.

Vintage Mustard and Cream Thermos Flask

A superb vintage Thermos flask in very good condition which will keep liquids hot or cold but in a decidedly cool fashion with its very fetching combination of mustard and cream. The flask is a very useful size - 15 fl. oz. / 0.75 pints / 0.425 litre - and the seal is tight and the plastics clean. A very nice example, and did we mention it's cool?

Uber Retro Thermos Jug in Yellow

Yes, *that* yellow. The yellow that VW Camper Vans are made of. The yellow that Austin Allegros were made of (not many still exist, unsurprisingly!). The yellow that *made* the 70s, basically.

This very chic 1 litre Thermos Jug (a.k.a "Leisure maker"!) is in superb condition and we're actually loathe to part with it, it's such a nice piece and perfectly usable as well! Obviously, it's a Thermos so it keeps hot things hot and cold things cold, but this is more than that as you can see from the photos!

This one seems to have been barely used, if at all, and it comes with the original box, although it's a little misshapen and showing its age, but aren't we all? The jug measures 30cm (12 in) high with a diameter at the base of 12cm (4.5 in) - the box is slightly bigger, as boxes tend to be. If we were to be really picky we'd say that the lid has a little bit of fading compared to the main body, but that would really be splitting hairs in relation to the overall condition of the item, which is very good.

One for the VW Camper fans, we think!
