Stylish 1950s Wade “Woodmist” Trio of Cup, Saucer and Sideplate

A super stylish modern trio in the "Woodmist" design by Wade which has a classic combination of black, grey and orange and abstracted floral pattern which just shouts its origins in the 1950s. In excellent condition and a hard-to-find combination these days, this trio of cup, saucer and sideplate just evokes the era superbly.

For reference, the sideplate is approximately 15cm (6 in.) in diameter. No chips or cracks, just some minor crazing as to be expected of items of this age.

Vintage Crown Clarence Ironstone Trios in Pale Yellow with Geometric Pattern

A subtle but funky geometric design on pale yellow ground is the defining feature of these trios of cup, saucer and sideplate made by Crown Clarence, from the Windsor Works, Staffordshire. Dating from the 1960s, the saucers and side plates are stamped with the maker's mark (slightly different marks on each) whilst the cups are impressed only with the word "England".

Available as trios but offers are welcomed on individual pieces or for the entire set of 6 cups, 6 saucers and 6 side plates. The "best" trios will be selected on a first-come first-served basis otherwise.

All are in vintage condition with some signs of age and use, but no cracks. There may be minor grazes or nibbles to edges, but nothing truly detrimental, and there may be some fading and irregularities to the patterns (possibly from the original manufacturing).

Dimensions:
Cups: 8cm (3 in.) height, 8.5cm (3½ in.) rim, 4.5 cm (1¾ in.) base.
Saucers: 14cm (5½ in.) diameter, 2.25cm (7/8 in.) depth.
Side Plates: 17cm (6¾ in.) diameter, 2cm (¾ in.) depth.

Vintage Italian Sommerso Triple Colour Glass Teardrop

A stunning three colour "sommerso" Italian glass sculpture in teardrop shape, possibly attributable to Flavio Poli for Seguso, in rose pink, pale cyan/teal and blue colourway. Dating from the 1960s, it requires little more in the way of words to describe it. We'll let the pictures and the item do the talking...

In good original condition with only one minor flaw which is a nibble to the base which is not visble when placed. Due to the nature of manufacture there are some very tiny bubbles internal to the glass work.
The sculpture weighs approximately 925 grams and measures approximately 17cm (6¾ in.) in height, 9.5cm (3¾ in.) at its widest, with a depth of approximately 6cm (2¼ in.)

Elizabethan Fine Bone China “Carnaby 2” Blue – four coffee cans or mugs and trios

Wonderful styling and made of high quality fine bone china, these Elizabethan "Carnaby" design coffee cans/mugs and cup/saucer/side plate trios simply exude "retro"- they are delicate without being fussy. This is the "No. 2" design in blue with brown detailing which we think is a very appealing combination indeed.

They are in very good condition with only minor signs of wear and no chips or cracks - the maker's mark is clear and legible on each.

Coffee cans/mugs measure approximately 8cm in height (3¼in) with a diameter on the rim of 7cm (2¾in).
Cups measure approximately 7cm (2¾ in.) with a diameter on the rim of 8cm in (3¼in).
Saucers are approximately 14.5cm (5¾ in.) in diameter.
Sideplates are approxiately 16.5cm (6½ in.) in diameter.
