Each plate features a single flower in bright and bold colours and a suitably funky design and we have three of them here. They measure approximately 23cm / 9 in in diameter and all three have stamps to their underside. They are almost dinner plate size, though these are more likely to be decorative pieces, we would think. There are some small surface losses to the designs and some marks - a kind of discolouration - throughout the three plates as well as kiln marks, and one plate has a small nick to it. However, these are hard to come by and make a great ensemble, so these imperfections have to be seen in that context.

The tray measures approximately 35 cm by 25 cm by 6 cm (13½ in. by 10 in. by 2½ in.).

The petals are all present and the head opens and closes as it should. One of the petals is a replacement of a missing original piece and there have been some repairs to the petals over time, but neither is noticeable except under close inspection.  The original bulb holder has been replaced with a smaller one - one that allows the head to be fully closed with an appropriately sized bulb - and the lamp has been rewired with a modern inline switch on suitably vintage-looking plaited flex. As with all electricals, a PAT test is recommended before use in your environment.  There are some minor signs of age and wear to the petals, minor losses to shape, but otherwise it is sound and there are no breaks or cracks to the carving in general.

The lamp measures approximately 41cm (16 in.) in height when closed, with the the bulb holder being approximately 28cm (11 in.). The base measures approximately 15cm (6 in.) in diameter.  When fully opened the head measures apprxoimately 30 cm (12 in.) in diameter.

This one is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and seemingly little used, although being a vintage piece you should expect minor scuffs and signs of age. It measures approximately 12cm (4¾in.) in height and a similar diameter. It's a solid piece and would serve as originally intended i.e. as a plant pot holder or equally well as a pen, stationery, or utensils pot.

It therefore appears to have never been used at all, but unfortunately it has nevertheless suffered some slight damage to the inside of the rim. This shouldn't affect normal use and it's not terrible from an aesthetic point of view, but it needs to be noted. It could be easily "touched up" if so desired.

The dish measures approximately 18cm (7in.) in diameter on the rim and 14cm (5½ in.) at the base, with the handles protruding 2.5cm (1 in.) either side. Without the lid, it is approximately 8 cm (3¼ in.) in height, and with the lid adding approximately 4cm (1½ in.) to that.
