Pyramid Enamel Two Handled Lidded Dish with Flowers and Butterflies Design

£15.00

A very attractive piece of enamelware made by Hague & McKenzie in their “Pyramid” range, this white lidded pot with two handles features a flowers and butterflies design in purple-blue, blues, yellow and olive green offset by a lid in a purple-blue tone. It’s _very_ vintage in style but probably dates from the 1970s and is complete with its original labels affixed to the base and also to the inside of the pot and also original tag tied to one of the handles.

It therefore appears to have never been used at all, but unfortunately it has nevertheless suffered some slight damage to the inside of the rim. This shouldn’t affect normal use and it’s not terrible from an aesthetic point of view, but it needs to be noted. It could be easily “touched up” if so desired.

The dish measures approximately 18cm (7in.) in diameter on the rim and 14cm (5½ in.) at the base, with the handles protruding 2.5cm (1 in.) either side. Without the lid, it is approximately 8 cm (3¼ in.) in height, and with the lid adding approximately 4cm (1½ in.) to that.
