A pottery piggy bank, which dates from the 1970s and is unmistakeably an Arthur Wood piece, though no sticker is attached. The stylised floral design is hand painted in white and orange tones onto a deep plum/purple ground and the piece has the model number "5272" in gold to the base. Also on the base is the original plastic stopper.

The piggy bank measures approximately 22cm long, 12cm tall and 8.5cm wide. It's in good condition with just some surface grazes and minor wear from use, but no chips or cracks.

An unusual table lamp stand, not only in the sense that it features a very attractive black and cream sgarffito design and elegant shape, but also in the sense that it is a survivor. Solid but made from a relatively delicate material, possibly a chalk variant, it's done very well to remain mostly intact. It dates from the 1950s and probably has its origins on the continent of Europe, possibly Spain.

The stand measures 28cm up to the bulb holder with a base diameter of just over 8cm. There are signs of age and use throughout and some minor losses, but in this particular case it just adds to the charm of the item. Almost certainly when it was first made it was a brighter white, but it has aged to a cream tone.

Please note:, this is only the lamp stand, no shade is provided.

A pair of vintage and extremely uncommon Denby salt and pepper pots, combining Denby's stoneware expertise with the Danish design of Kurt Franzen of Digsmed to give these teak-bodied condiments a mid-century flavour. The fixed pottery tops - we think these were designed as part of the "Romany" range or at least would be a good match for it - have a grey-brown speckled gradient and are perforated with an "S" and a "P" in the top. The rounded teak bodies have a plastic stopper in the base for re-filling.

Measuring approximately 10cm (4 in.) in height, and with a maximum diameter of approximately 6.5cm (2½ in.), they are in very good used condition - the salt pot has a firing defect which has been glazed. They individually weigh approximately 220g.

These cute stylised figures are part of the short-lived Hornsea Pottery range of "People" designed by John Clappison and made by the company in the early 1980s. This pair are a bridesmaid and a pageboy and stand approximately 10cm (4 in.) tall. Their cute hairstyles and stylised clothing are very much in-keeping with the range and they make a sweet couple.

In good general condition with no chips or cracks but with some slight discolouration due to age. Sold as a pair but consideration will be given to splitting them at potential buyer's request.

Put some money aside and put a smile on your (or someone else's) face courtesy of this Arthur Wood handpainted ceramic dog money box which dates from the 1960s or 1970s. Finished with an orange and brown floral design on a white ground this little canine comes complete with happy eyes, seemingly wet nose, a warm smile, and original sticker still adhered to his tail. Rather unusually, this one features blue eyes - others we have seen have rather plain looking painted eyes.

In very good condition with only very minor signs of wear and age (the odd graze to the finish), the money box has its original "bung" and is signed to the base. The dog is approximately 18cm (7 in.) long.

Coming in at a whopping 36cm high, this Schlossberg Keramik vase made in the early 1960s in West Germany, is as much a piece of sculpture as it is a ceramic item. Decorated in the "Staufen" design it is a visually stunning piece with a dark grey striped ground punctuated by raised white lines and panels of colour: red, yellow and a greenish-blue. It's an eye-catching design with an Atomic style, slightly bulging middle and curved rim and at the size that it is, it would certainly make an impact in anyone's home.

The vase is in excellent unchipped and uncracked condition. There are some very minor blemishes and one section of vertical white stripe is slightly lacking towards the top, but this appears to be from the original manufacturing process rather than anything that happened to the vase subsequently.

The base has the Schlossberg mark on it and the form number impressed into it. The mark is not absolutely distinct - it would seem to be "101/36" but we could be mistaken about that.

We welcome offers on this outstanding and unusual piece and are happy to discuss price and shipping/collection options with any interested parties.

Heavily textured exteriors with a white ground and bold stripes in black, red and green provide a stark contrast to a glossy yellow interior on this fabulous pair of lava-style Fratelli Fanciullacci vases, made in Italy in the 1950s. Each vase is approximately 12cm high with a maximum width of 10cm and is signed on the base.

In very good condition, although it's rather difficult to discern damage on the exteriors due to their already very uneven and highly irregular surfaces. There may be one or two places where it appears that the glaze didn't take or the vase has been grazed - nothing that detracts from the looks of this great pair of Italian objects, though!

We're open to offers on these, so please do get in touch if you are interested in them and we can discuss pricing and shipping/collection options with you.

A very unusual and difficult to describe item! We'll be honest and admit that we know very little about it and our researches have not given us any concrete conclusions, so we are selling very much "as found" and "as described". It appears on first glance to be a Japanese geisha doll - but it might possibly be Chinese in origin - in a light wooden box with glass lid (quite fragile in reality). Perhaps some kind of souvenir or traditional gift. The doll is dressed in red and black fabric robes and has a ceramic head with painted features, and comes with three wigs in their own compartments in the box. To give you some sense of the size of the doll, the case measures about 15cm by 8cm (6.5" x 3").

One of our quirkier finds, this doll is definitely different and is perhaps suited to the collector or to those interested in the culture from which it comes. In terms of condition, there is some fading to the costume which we presume was originally a much deeper black and there is some thinning to the wigs, but on the whole the doll is faring quite well considering the delicacy of construction and age.

A vintage bisque doll head which we have mounted on a custom-made wood base to use as a decorative item and - thanks to the bulb holder the head conceals - as an occasional light. The doll's head is easily removed from the base as it sits neatly into two grooves rather than being fixed to it to reveal the bulb holder and sliding bar switch. Adding to the look is a good length of neutral-coloured fabric covered flex and a bakelite plug. The bulb holder has an E22 bayonet fitting and it should be fitted with a low heat or LED pygmy bulb. The low heat element being essential should you need to remove the head to turn off the lamp rather than do so at the socket.

The photos really tell the story better than words do and according to our informal research you'll either love it or hate it! Unique is an over-used word, but we can absolutely guarantee that this item is indeed unique. It's truly a one-off, made in collaboration with Mark Lowe Lighting (marklowe.co.uk).

The lamp base measures 12cm by 12 cm (4¾ in. by 4¾ in.) and the height of the lamp (doll's head + base) is 17cm (6½ in.). The flex is a generous 2.7m (107in.) in length. Due to the nature of this item we do not recommend this as a lamp for use by children - it is not a toy - or as a light for anything more than occasional use.

A very large (25cm / 10in. high) blue and green West German vase made by Bay Keramik. The vase features banded relief patterns in blue and green with suggestions of yellow and an interior gloss glaze in brown. Truly spectacular in colour, size and shape and in very good condition, the only minor blemish being a tiny chip on the base (see photos) which is hardly noticeable in ordinary use.

The bottom is stamped "92 25" - the "92" being the style number and the "25" indicating the size - and "BAY +".
