A rare and curious item (to contemporary eyes), a Kleeware plastic bear-shaped baby rattle / teether dating from the 1950s. We suspect it was originally part of a set, this figure seemingly representing Baby Bear from the Goldilocks story, and he has a charm and curiosity appeal all of his own. And he has a spoon. For his porridge (obviously).
In good condition – paintwork very much intact and visible – and measuring approximately 6cm / 2¼ in high, the figure is stamped KLEEWARE.
