An uncommon item, produced during the 1930s depicting a maritime scene and made from genuine butterfly wing. The picture measures 13cm x 7cm (5 in by 3in approx.). The iridescence of the wing is difficult to convey but we think it’s rather attractive and certainly unusual!
The original label remains on the back and reads: “Genuine Butterfly Wing. Pat No. 202213. Made in England”
