Chad Valley Sing a Song of Sixpence Humming Top
£12.00
This tin Humming Top toy was made in England in the 1960s and is a great piece of childhood memorabilia. Made by Chad Valley (and by appointment to HM The Queen Mother), it has retained its bright, vibrant colours and has a working mechanism to make it spin and hum when spun at high speed (!). There are dents and scratches on the painted surface as a result of many years of “loving” use, but nothing that detracts from the colours and fun display of the rhyme, “Sing a song of Sixpence”.
We think it would be a very nice addition to a vintage toy collection, or simply as a nostalgic item for display – or, actually, something for the current generation of children to enjoy all over again!
SORRY, SOLD OUT!
