Designed in 1967 by Guy Sydenham and Tony Morris, this Poole Pottery serving plate or platter has a striking reactive glaze in their “Blue Lace” design. Don’t be put off by the name – in reality, the reactive glaze produces an extremely organic and interesting mix of sea blues and greens and darker tones which makes every piece unique. These colour tones are beautifully complemented by the subtle sculpted shape of the form.
This one is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and very little sign of wear, if any at all. It measures 29cm x 25cm x 2cm approximately (11½ in. x 10in. x ¾in.)
