A very attractive and Art Deco-influenced Smiths mantel clock with an eight-day wind and four jewels. The rectangular dark wood casing and numerals are offset by the clock’s contrasting blonde face. The clock keeps good time and is fully working with only minor signs of wear and tear (a few nibbles to the wood and some minor rusting to the movement housing at the rear.)
A handsome piece and a large statement – it measures 24cm (8½ in.) across, is 17cm (6½ in.) in height and front to back measures 8cm (3¼in.) including movement housing.
