Vintage Turned Wood Pot Pourri Bowl with beautifully contrasting grain

A turned wood pot pourri bowl with small lid which appears to be of vintage origins – possibly handmade – and which features a beautifully contrasting wood grain. The body of the bowl is of a darker wood (possibly teak) with a contrasting lighter top surface and small lid with subtle knob which have a strikingly grained appearance. The top surface has been perforated with a star pattern. The base has a green felt for portection of surfaces. In very good condition with no chips or dings to speak of.
The bowl measures approximately 10cm (4 in.) high, with a top diameter of 14.5 cm (5¾ in.) and a base diameter of 10cm (4 in.)
