Collection of Vintage East German Erzegebirge Wooden Village Miniatures

A wonderful little collection of vintage East German “Erzegebirge” wooden village miniatures. The set includes walls (five), houses (five red, four blue), a church and what appears to be a town hall – with these two latter buildings bearing a stamp underneath which reads “Made In GDR”. In good vintage condition with some signs of age and use, but nothing which is detrimental – rather the opposite. One of the wall pieces does however have some red ink on it (please see photograph), but we have left that “as is”.
Overall, a charming little display set which adds a quirky touch of colour to a shelf and is a good example of Erzegebirge craft.
