Lucky Penny Motoring Curio 1968

£6.00

A very quirky item of motoring memorabilia which has survived intact from 1968.  It’s a “lucky penny” which was given to customers of Burncross Service Station in Sheffield prior to the tyre law change which came into force and required 1mm of tread on at least three-quarters of a car’s tyres. An odd little thing, in very good condition and we can’t imagine that many survived!

Please note: we cannot guarantee that this lucky penny will bring the purchaser good fortune…
