Rare Vintage 1970s Roger Hargreaves Timbuctoo “Woof” Wind Up Toy

A rarity indeed, this is a 1970s windup toy featuring the character of “Woof” from the “Timbuctoo” series by Roger Hargreaves (he of Mr. Men fame). The cute hat-wearing dog figure is made of a composite resin with a simple wind-up mechanism which makes Woof walk.

Measuring approximatley 8cm in height, this particular Woof is in good condition considering his age and undoubted use. His mechanism works, albeit a little slowly.
