Teal gradient glass vase with scales or fans design
A very stylish teal (blue-green) glass vase with what appears to be a transfer design resembling stylised fish scales or fans all with a gradient from a lighter tone at the top to a darker tone at the bottom. We don’t know precisely how old this is, but we wouldn’t at all be surprised if it dated from the 1960s. It also appears to be handmade, since there are some variations in the positioning of the designs. You might call this inconsistency a defect, but if that’s the case then it’s probably a sign of the human touch if anything!
The vase measures approx. 17cm (6¾ in) in height with a diameter at the top of 8cm (3¼ in) and at the base of 6cm(2½ in). It’s in very good condition, no chips or cracks, just some horizontal “banding” to the finish which is barely noticeable except when scrutinised closely.
SORRY, SOLD OUT!
