A piece of vintage art glass in the form of a semi-globe shaped vase with pineapple-style interior texture and a slightly fluted and rim. A very finely produced and lightweight item which shows considerable craftsmanship in its making and unusual in form and visual effect, particularly with the texture on the inside rather than the outside of the glass. It is most likely to be East European in origin.
The vase has no chips or cracks and is presented in excellent condition. The vase measures approximately 12cm (4¾ in.) in height with the “ball” section approximately 9cm (3½ in) of that. The vase is 11cm (4¼ in.) at its widest, with a rim measuring 6.5 cm (2½ in.) in diameter and a base 4.5 cm (1¾ in.) in diameter.
