This carved wooden owl was originally made to hang on the wall and hold candle tapers, but we think it might serve any number of purposes now aside from being just rather fabulous in its own right as an engaging decorative piece. We think he’d made a great gift. The only problem will be to give it to who? Givit-twoo!

The owl measures approximately 15cm (6in) tall and about 7.5cm (3in) front to back, with an internal space for storage about 3.5cm (1¹⁄³in) by 4.5cm (1¾in). He has a slight foot injury – a crack which at some point in the past has been re-glued and feels solid.
