Vintage Chad Valley “Mary Lou” Toy Washing Machine

A vintage battery-operated children’s toy washing machine made by Chad Valley. The “Mary Lou” features not only a spinning drum “washer” mechanism, but also a “spin dryer” which drains the water away via a pipe on the side of the unit. This one is in used condition with signs of wear and tear from use – particular wear to the top surface – but generally very good without any major dings or dents to the casing. The box is present but has rather more signs of age and wear. It’s a nice bonus to have it, though.
