Vintage Orange Krups One Hour Kitchen Timer

A small but perfectly formed kitchen timer made by Krups and, of course, it’s orange (a yellowy tint rather than a deep orange). Typical of their kitchen and other home accessories, its subtle and simple dome-shaped design is matched in its functionality. In this case, a simple rotation of the uppermost part of the timer sets the delay and a ringer denotes the end of the interval. Simple. And very pleasing.

In good working condition, with just a few minor scrapes to the metal lower section. The plastic upper is in good condition with no chips or cracks. The time indicator line doesn’t quite line up with the “0” marker but that’s just how they are, it seems. The timer has a diameter at the base of 6cm (2¼ in.) and is approximately 4cm in height (1½ in.)
