Vintage Three-Stranded Simulated Pearl Necklace by Lotus
£22.50
A fine simulated pearl necklace dating from the 1950s/1960s made by Lotus and presented in its original tiered box. The necklace is 38cm (15in.) in length and comprises three gradated strands of simulated pearls finished with a decorative and ornate clasp with yellow-green stones. The back of the clasp is stamped “Lotus”. The box is original and in reasonable condition, bar some slight “foxing” to the inner liner and some minor wear to outer edges and corners.
The simulated pearls are in good condition, but it should be expected that there will be minor grazing from age and use. The clasp and fittings are all robust and in good condition. This is a very fine example indeed and three-stranded versions are somewhat uncommon.
The box measures 26cm (10in.) by 9cm (3½in.) by 2.5cm (1in.).
