Vintage Bentwood Desk “For Action” Paperwork Tray by Mallod c.1950s/1960s

A very nice-looking vintage desktop paperwork tray in bentwood, made by Mallod, and dating from the 1950s or 1960s. Ours has a very pleasing appearance with original cosmetic wear from use and a suitably vintage-looking red Dymo label attached to side reading “FOR ACTION”. We have not restored the tray in any way except for a clean and a subtle wax. Expect there to be signs of use and wear and tear – we think it’s all part of the character of this particular item.
The tray measures 26.5cm by 36.5cm by 5.5cm (10½ in. by 14¼in. by 2¼in.)
